John D. Elsey

John D. Elsey has held a variety of senior-executive positions for private sector and publicly traded companies, including chief executive officer positions for Virginia-based ESI International, a global business services company specializing in strategy execution; Huthwaite, Inc., the creators of SPIN Selling©; The Forum Corporation, a Boston-based leadership development firm; and the Informa Performance Improvement group of companies, part of Informa PLC (LSE:INF).

While serving in a board capacity and as chief executive, John has acquired considerable operating expertise with global responsibilities across the US, Europe-Middle East-Africa countries, and the Asia-Pacific region. Specifically, he led the planning, development, and execution of go-to-market strategy; the hiring and developing of high-performing leadership teams; the creation of world-class sales and marketing functions; international expansion; and channel management.

John has transformed early-growth businesses into multi-site, international corporations with revenues exceeding $200 million annually. He has provided performance-improvement products and services to a variety of vertical markets, including healthcare, energy, technology, telecommunications, transportation, and government.

Additionally, John has successfully completed two company divestitures to private equity and PLC strategic buyers.
