Richardson Positioned in Leading Analyst's Magic Quadrant for eLearning Content Research Report

Philadelphia, PA - November 15, 2004 - Richardson, a leading sales and service training and consulting firm, today announced that it was recognized in Gartner, Inc.'s 2004 Magic Quadrant Report for eLearning Content*. Written by James Lundy and Waldir Arevolo, this report, released October 25, recognizes the major players that are shaping the content portion of the Web-based training market. Gartner, Inc., a leading research and advisory company produced the report to help clarify markets, vendors, and their products.

Richardson was placed in the Niche category which, according to the Gartner, Inc. report can be described as the quadrant that "features vendors that often focus on a particular region or offer content for a particular subject or discipline (for example, sales). In these focused markets, a vendor's overall influence may rise." Gartner defines vendors listed in the Niche category as focused on a particular segment of the client base, as defined by characteristics such as size, vertical or project complexity. Their ability to outperform or innovate may be impacted by this narrow focus.

In 2002, Richardson introduced its Richardson QuickSkills™ eLearning programs and immediately received recognition through independent evaluations and industry awards. To build its modular, integrated, and blended eLearning curriculum, Richardson leveraged more than 25 years of seminar and consulting experience and best practices with leading clients around the world. Today, Richardson QuickSkills are the widest and deepest Web-based sales and service courses in the industry. Richardson's comprehensive eLearning library offers over 60 eLearning courses that can be delivered off-the-shelf or customized to the specific strategies, vertical industries, and client's sales issues.

Richardson QuickSkills are AICC and SCORM compliant, playing on over 40 LMS platforms both on a hosted and installed basis, including all of the major players. Each QuickSkills eLearning course is supported by tools such as QuickGuides™, a step-by-step process that supports training and helps Managers reinforce newly learned skills by providing a methodology to apply the course learning back on the job.

"We consider being recognized in Gartner, Inc.'s Magic Quadrant for eLearning Content as a significant accomplishment for Richardson. Gartner, Inc. is one of the most respected voices in the industry and has been extremely influential in helping set a direction through its reports and research," said Linda Richardson, Founder and CEO of Richardson. "We feel being listed recognizes our strength and continued commitment to excellence in the sales training arena. Our courses are substantive and our data shows ROI.
