Senior Business Development Consultant
Due to our explosive growth and listing to Inc 5000 Fastest Growing Companies in America, we are hiring Senior Business Development Consultants to support our Executive Sales Team in maintaining and expanding our presence within our respective markets.
The primary role and responsibility of Senior Business Development Consultants at Richardson is to generate and maintain a consistent, ongoing outbound lead opportunity pipeline, calling on high level decision makers of Fortune 1000 companies within our designated verticals to set and coordinate qualified appointments for our Regional Vice Presidents. This includes: conducting pre-call research, writing customized account entry and follow-up letters, conducting consultative, prospecting telephone calls, engaging in strategic dialogues with high level decision makers, transitioning opportunities to our RVPs, ongoing lead nurturing and following our proprietary Consultative Selling/Gaining the Appointment model to effectively generate interest and demonstrate our value proposition to prospective clients.
Senior Business Development Consultants also follow up on assigned inbound marketing leads and trade show leads from mid-sized companies and sell our spectrum of training solutions over phone and email.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3-5 years of B2B experience in the verticals outlined below. He/she possesses strong verbal and written communication skills. He/she has the tenacious skills to pursue opportunities to WIN!
Experience in calling on, selling to and/or selling in one or more targeted verticals below is required:
- Retail Banking
- Financial Services/Asset Management
- Retail (boxed retail orgs, in-store, call centers, etc)
- Insurance
- Professional Services
- Technology
- Pharma/Biotech
